Style Remix: Faux Leather Mixed Media Moto Jacket & Peplum

 I can't believe that we are at the end of August and Labor Day is just around the corner.  There is an old saying that you can't wear white after Labor Day, but as with all fashion wearing white is subjective and I think it is perfectly acceptable as long as you have the right fabrics.  In my humble opinion, summer fabrics like linen and light cotton blends should be packed away but winter fabrics like leather and textured cotton blends are completely acceptable.  Items like this faux leather mixed media moto jacket and textured peplum top have the right weight to be worn into the cooler fall months.  For today's outfit, I paired the jacket and peplum with boyfriend jeans and white cap-toe pumps for an easy casual look with enough layers to cope with the cooling evening temperatures.
